Central Railway Zone a vast network primarily covering Maharashtra and extending into parts of northeastern Karnataka and southern Madhya Pradesh. The zone operates five divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Bhusawal, Nagpur, and Solapur.

Central Railway Map Routes:

  • Mumbai CSMT–Kalyan–Igatpuri–Nashik Road–Manmad–Jalgaon–Bhusawal: This route connects Mumbai to Bhusawal via major stations like Nashik and Manmad.
  • Bhusawal–Akola–Badnera–Wardha–Nagpur: Connecting Bhusawal to Nagpur, this line passes through Akola and Wardha.
  • Mumbai CSMT–Kalyan–Karjat–Lonavala–Pune: A crucial link between Mumbai and Pune, passing through scenic locales like Lonavala.
  • CSMT–Kurla–Panvel: Connecting Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Panvel via Kurla.
  • Pune–Daund–Solapur–Wadi–Tandur: This line extends from Pune to Tandur, passing through Daund and Solapur.
  • Pune–Satara–Sangli–Miraj–Kolhapur: Linking Pune to Kolhapur via Satara, Sangli, and Miraj.
