Delhi – Mumbai Expressway (DME) project is an under-construction 8-lane access-controlled road (1350 km) with a route connecting DND in Delhi with JNPT in Mumbai. It has been designed with a speed limit of 120 km/hr and provision to expand to 12 lanes in the future.
The Delhi Mumbai Expressway is a proposed 1,320 km long six-lane interstate that will interface the national capital Delhi with the budgetary capital Mumbai. The expressway is anticipated to essentially reduce the travel time between the two cities and conjointly provide a superior network to the regions that it passes through.
