Gorakhpur Siliguri Expressway Route Map - Summary
Gorakhpur Siliguri Expressway is a planned greenfield project. Before entering Bihar, the four-lane access-controlled highway would travel 84 kilometres through various districts in Uttar Pradesh, such as Gorakhpur, Deoria and Kushinagar. It will then cover nine districts of Bihar, including East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Darbhanga, Supaul, Kishanganj, Madhubani, and Forbesganj, to finally reach Siliguri.
With a length of approximately 520 kilometers, the Expressway will connect Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur to West Bengal’s Siliguri. The project’s overall cost is around Rs. 32,000 crores and is expected to be completed by 2025.
