Supaul is a town and municipality that is the headquarters of Supaul district in the Indian state of Bihar. There are 11 blocks under the Supaul district: Supaul, Kishanpur, Saraigarh-Bhaptiyahi, Pipra, Triveniganj, Raghopur, Chhatapur, Nirmali, Marauna, Basantpur, and Pratapganj. Kosi River is the place to visit. It is a transboundary river that flows through Bihar and Nepal.
The well-known historical and religious place, namely Durga Sthan, Parsarma, lies in the Supaul distric,t and it is only 10 km (6 mi) away from the district headquarters. Rajbiraj (10 km towards north in Nepal) is a historic city that houses the famous 8th century Rajdevi Temple and is close to Chinnamasta Shakti Peeth.
Supaul district in Bihar covers an area of 2,420 sq km. Supaul district is part of the Koshi division. Supaul town is the administrative headquarter of the district.
