Ganga Expressway Route Map - Summary

The Ganga Expressway (594 Km) project by UPEIDA is an under-construction 6-lane greenfield access-controlled highway with a route alignment connecting NH-334 in Meerut District with NH-2 at Prayagraj (Allahabad) Bypass in Prayagraj District. Ganga Expressway’s foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Modi in Shahjahanpur on December 18, 2021. Ganga Expressway is expected to be completed and opened in December 2025 (current deadline).

Ganga Expressway is an ambitious greenfield expressway project in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). Phase 1 of the Ganga Expressway will connect Bijauli village in the Meerut district to Judapur Dandu village in the Prayagraj district. The state government expects the project to be completed by March or April 2025.
