Gandhinagar District Map with Taluka - Summary

The city of Gandhinagar was established on 2.8.1965. The new capital was named Gandhinagar for the purpose of maintaining a lasting memory of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhinagar city is a head center of the Gandhinagar district and capital of Gujarat state. There are four Talukas (sub districts) under the capital namely: Mansa, Kalol, Dehgam and Gandhinagar.

As per 2011 Census Data, 48 villages are in Gandhinagar Taluka of Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Gandhinagar District is divided into 4 taluka/tehsil

  2. Kalol
  3. Dehgam
  4. Mansa

. The office of Mamlatdar has assumed important status from ancient times. The word “Mamlatdar” is derived from original Arabic World MUAMLA (Mamla) means complicated matter or case and the officer who solves such matters or issues is Mamlatdar. The Mamlatdar is the Head of revenue administration consisting of average 50 or more groups of villages.
