The literacy rate of the Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha constituency is 64.11%, and the constituency is represented by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 17th Lok Sabha, with Harshit Soni as the Member of Parliament. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Dr Mahesh Sharma of the BJP won with 8,28,164 votes.
