Northern Railway Map - Summary

The Northern Railway (NR) The Northern Railway (NR) zone is one of the 17 railway zones in India and stands as the northernmost zone of the Indian Railways. Established on April 14, 1952, its headquarters are located at Baroda House in New Delhi.

Northern Railway Division

The Northern Railway zone is divided into six divisions, each serving distinct regions:​

  • Ambala Division: Covers parts of Haryana and Punjab, with its headquarters in Ambala.​
  • Delhi Division: Encompasses the National Capital Territory of Delhi and surrounding areas.​
  • Firozpur Division: Serves regions in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, headquartered in Firozpur.​
  • Lucknow NR Division: Covers areas in Uttar Pradesh, with its headquarters in Lucknow.​
  • Moradabad Division: Serves parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, headquartered in Moradabad.​
  • Jammu Division: The latest addition, focusing on the Jammu region in Jammu & Kashmir.
