Bihar Road Map showing the entire road map of Bihar. The state is bordered on the north by Nepal, on the west by Uttar Pradesh, on the south by Jharkhand, and on the east by West Bengal. The bifurcation of Bihar took place on November 15, 2000, and a new state Jharkhand was born. Bihar is divided into 38 districts.
