New Noida Master Plan 2041 - Summary
The Noida master plan 2041 focuses primarily on the expansion of the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), commonly referred to as New Noida. The project will involve acquiring land from 80 villages across the Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts.
New Noida Master Plan 2041 aims to develop a new city spanning 8,230 hectares across 20 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and 60 in Bulandshahr by 2041, divided into four phases, with the first phase reaching completion in 2027.
Phased Development:
- Phase 1 (by 2027): Development across 3,165 hectares.
- Phase 2 (2027-2032): Development of another 3,798 hectares.
- Phase 3 (by 2037): Development of 5,908 hectares.
- Phase 4 (by 2041): Development reaching 8,230 hectares.
Key Features and Objectives:
- Smart City: New Noida will incorporate smart infrastructure, including smart traffic signals, real-time monitoring, and crowd management systems.
- Economic Hub: Focus on creating an Aerotropolis and “cities within the city” to strengthen the economic base and generate employment.
- Infrastructure: Provision for high-quality, affordable infrastructure and safe and reliable transportation.
- Social Infrastructure: Includes the development of an Olympic Park and proposals for a Korean City and Japanese City
YEIDA’s master plan will include 55 villages of Bulandshahr, taking the total area to be covered by it to 226 – 131 of them from GB Nagar.
The area covered by phase 1 of the project has been increased from 583sqkm initially to 769sqkm. As a result of this expansion, the population in the YEIDA region is expected to reach 37 lakh by 2041.
