Pune Metro Rail Project Phase-2 Map - Summary
Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved Phase-2 of the Pune Metro Rail Project. This new phase will extend the existing Vanaz–Ramwadi metro line (Phase-1) through two new routes:
- Vanaz to Chandani Chowk (Corridor 2A)
- Ramwadi to Wagholi/Vitthalwadi (Corridor 2B)
Together, these two elevated routes will be 12.75 km long and will include 13 metro stations. These corridors will connect fast-growing areas like Chandani Chowk, Bavdhan, Kothrud, Kharadi, and Wagholi — making travel in Pune faster, easier, and more convenient.
